History
The Breger group, an independent business founded in Cossé-le-Vivien (53) in 1952 by Gustave Breger, has developed over the years to become a key organizer and transporter for general and specialist goods in batches and groupage.
Gustave Breger founded Breger Transport in 1952 in Cossé-le-Vivien (53, Mayenne). In the beginning, the company transported livestock and livestock feed. The business was then passed on to his son, who developed the business’ activities, diversifying into the transport of general goods. In 1968, the family business became a public limited company, leading to the creation of the first Breger agency in Saint-Berthevin (53, Mayenne). In 1985, the development of the company’s activities led to the Breger network being extended to Lyon, followed by Paris and finally Haguenau, near Strasbourg. It was at this point that shuttles between agencies began to meet the national distribution needs of the company’s clients.
